Description
This is a coloured pencil drawing of the GT Club #13 Ferrari F430 Challenge Stradale racing car on le Circuit Mont Tremblant in Mont Tremblant, Quebec, during a Ferrari Challenge race there in June 2007.
I don't think this drawing is quite up to my usual standards for detail, but that's because I drew it on a 9" by 12 " piece of sketchbook paper in just one afternoon and evening as my submission for International Drawing Day 2008, and, for a "quicky" drawing, I think I did a pretty nice job.
It's also the first coloured pencil drawing that I have completed since 2006. I have a Prismacolor drawing of a Ferrari 550 Maranello which I started drawing last summer which is 75% done, but I keep on getting frustrated at all the little details, and I'm also working on a couple of oil pastel drawings.
